Creating a Buzz with Your Local Bookstores
With so many books available in bookstores, how do you get yours to stand out? Join authors, Adria KarlssonEric Rosswood, and Valerie Bolling as they discuss how they planned a stock signing tour that created lots of online buzz and helped build relationships with local independent bookstores. They will discuss tips they learned that helped get those indie bookstores to champion their books in their physical stores and their social media accounts.

About Adria Karlsson
Once upon a time, Adria Karlsson may have been found teaching people, training cats and dogs, or tutoring dyslexic kids, but now they spend their time writing and parenting. Their life seems full of unexpected twists, but also adventure – as an author they get to ask lots of questions, figure out answers, and share what they’ve learned through make-believe. That’s definitely its own kind of happily ever after. Adria’s debut book, My Sister, Daisy is available now from Capstone Press.

About Eric Rosswood
Eric Rosswood is the co-author of STRONG, a picture book about Rob Kearney, the world’s first openly gay, professional strongman competitor. He is also the award-winning author of Journey to Same-Sex Parenthood and The Ultimate Guide for Gay Dads. Eric lives in New York with his husband, Mat, and their two children.
